Hymn to Kali by A. Crowley

There is an idol in my house
  By whom the sandal alway steams.
Alone, I make a black carouse
  With her to dominate my dreams.
With skulls and knives she keeps control
(O Mother Kali!) of my soul.

She is crowned with emeralds like leaves,
  And rubies flame from either eye;
A rose upon her bosom heaves,
  Turquoise and lapis lazuli.
She hath a kirtle like a maid: --
Amethyst, amber, pearl, and jade!

Her face is fashioned like a moon;
  Her breasts are tongues of pointed jet;
Her belly of opal fairly hewn;
  And round about her neck is set
The holy rosary, skull by skull,
Polished and grim and beautiful!

This jewelled shape of gold and bronze
  Is seated on my bosom's throne;
She takes my mused orisons
  To her, to her, to her alone.
Oh Kali, Kali, Kali, quell
This hooded hate, O Queen of Hell!

Her ruby-studded brow is calm;
  Her eyes shine like some sleepy flood;
Her breast is oliban and balm;
  Her tongue lolls out, a-dripping blood;
She swings my body to and fro;
She breaks me on the wheel of woe!

To her eternal rapture seems
  Mere nature; underneath the crown
Of dusky emeralds there streams
  A river of bliss to sluice me down
With blood and tears, to drown my thought,
To bring my being into naught.

The cruel teeth, the steady sneer,
  The marvellous lust of her, I bring
Unto my body bright and clear
  (Dropped poison in a water spring!)
To fill me with the utmost sense
Of some divine experience.

For who but she, the adulterous queen,
  Made earth and heaven with all its stars,
The storm, the hunger epicene,
  The raging at invisible bars,
The hideous cruelty of the whole? --
These are of Kali, o my soul!

The sterile force of bronze and gold
  Bends to my passion, as it grips
With feverish claws the metal cold,
  And burns upon the brazen lips
That, parted like a poppy bud,
Have gemmed curves like moons of blood.

The mazes of her many arms
  Delude the eye; they seem to shift
As if they spelled mysterious charms
  Whereby some tall grey ship should drift
Out to a windless, tideless sea
Motionless from eternity.

This then I seek, O woman-form!
  O god embowelled in curves of bronze!
The shuddering of a sudden storm
  To mix me with thy minions
The lost, who wait through endless night,
And wait in vain, to see the light.

For I am utterly consumed
  In thee, in thee am broken up.
The life upon my lips that bloomed
  Is crushed into a deadly cup,
Whose devilish spirit squats and gloats
Upon the thirst that rots our throats.

Gape wide, O hideous mouth, and suck
  This heart's blood, drain it down, expunge
This sweltering life of mire and muck!
  Squeeze out my passions as a sponge,
Till naught is left of terrene wine
But somewhat deathless and divine!

Not by a faint and fairy tale
  We shadow forth the immortal way.
No symbols exquisitely pale
  Avail to lure the secrets grey
Of his endeavour who proceeds
By doing to abolish deeds.

Not by the pipings of a bird
  In skies of blue on fields of gold,
But by a fierce and loathly word
  The abomination must be told.
The holy work must twist its spell
>From hemp of madness, grown in hell.

Only by energy and strife
  May man attain the eternal rest,
Dissolve the desperate lust of life
  By infinite agony and zest.
Thus, O my Kali, I divine
The golden secret of thy shrine!

Death from the universal force
  Means to the forceless universe
Birth. I accept the furious course,
  Invoke the all-embracing curse.
Blessing and peace beyond may lie
When I annihilate the 'I'.

Therefore, o holy mother, gnash
  Thy teeth upon my willing flesh!
Thy chain of skulls wild music clash!
  Thy bosom bruise mine own afresh!
Sri Maharani! draw my breath
Into the hollow lungs of death!

There is no light, nor any motion.
  There is no mass, nor any sound.
Still, in the lampless heart of ocean,
  Fasten me down and hold me drowned
Within thy womb, within thy thought,
Where there is naught -- where there is naught!

Employing sexual energies

A question oftentimes asked:

What about sex and spiritual advancement? Is it imperative to abstain from having sex prior magical operations?

My answer:

Having followed tantric path right from my twenties, I never really disregarded the use of sexual energy.

Of course, here in the West and just about in any other part of this world, mixing sex and serious spiritual practice is frowned upon at the very least. Theravada Buddhists, for instance, are not allowed to even see a woman during retreats.

Sensual pleasure, desires, lust, attachments, intoxicants etc. are considered polluted, unholy and impure by most spiritual traditions... ...apart from Tantric path (Sri Vidya, Kali tantra, Vajrayana to name a few) and high, IX. level O.T.O. degree, of course (which employ tantric practices, what else).

The notion that purity defines closeness to salvation is only one side of a coin. Tantra takes the opposite approach; it is a powerful path. It takes much more than reading a book on these subjects, though. One needs initiation, empowerment and reliable guidance. It is fun and also dangerous practice for sure. :)

 That said, and to answer your questions, well, I never offered body fluids to "demons" (I don't like this word) if that kind of rituals you have in mind. Not a good idea, anyway, especially if one is only starting on the path of awakening.

I employed sex energy to enhance spiritual realizations of both of us (her and me) many many times, and it works. So, I do not refrain from sex prior rituals, in fact sex is important part of most tantric rituals I perform (invocation of a tantric goddess etc.).

I didn't observe celibacy during Abramelin operation or prior to Verum op. or Goetia evocations. Why would I.

Goetia spirits and psychological types

Buy on amazon >>
In this article we shall explore how to employ Goetia spirits for personal (and/or) transpersonal development right down here, on Earth and in daily life.

I will be borrowing a few paragraphs from the "Illustrated Goetia", ch. nine.

As we will see, there is a connection between our birth date and Goetia spirits; and it so happens that the two spirits that exert their influence in my life as per this model, are the same as described below: Sitri and Haagenti.

My "psychological type" is indeed reflected by the abilities of these two Goetia spirits and both are my friends.

Of course, the text below advocates the "old" approach to Goetia evocation based on handling fear of the 'dark' spirits by coercion and intimidation of spirits. Me, I employ no threats, no punishment and no protection (circle, ring, triangle etc.). Dark is not a problem when you see through inner personal darkness.

Anyway...

Which Goetia spirits play important role in your life?

Here we go:

"We have already discussed the psychological and non psychological aspects of the Goetic Spirits. The disciplined use of these Spirits can bring about significant psycho-spiritual changes not unlike those achieved by psychotherapy.

As interesting and effective as your evocations can be they are more useful if you can discover which Spirits operate in your life independent of your will and which ones you should evoke in order
to enrich and balance your life.

For example Spirit number 12 SITRI (attributed to the 3rd Decan of Cancer and to the 4 of Cups) for the daytime and HAAGENTI number 48 (4 Cups) for the night are the Spirits which operate for
me. My birthday is July the 12th. These two Spirits govern beauty, lust, wisdom and gold. The night vision is involved with alchemy and wisdom which are two major topics that have always interested me. The day vision is lust and beauty which are also powerful forces in my life.

Combining these visions we have the Great Occult secret, the alchemical process of transmuting the body through lust into gold. This is, of course, associated with Sex Magick.

In addition to the obvious associations between date of birth and the Goetia Spirits there are many other Goetic forces which manifest themselves in our lives. By knowing these forces you can
evoke the integrate them within your psyche. If for example you are susceptible to wild moods or outbursts or if you often feel weak try to find the appropriate Spirit and evoke it.

Begin "relationship" or dialogue with the Spirit. Ask it what it is trying to communicate to you. Command it to cease affecting you or reward it depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
Keep in mind that reward and punishment are two of the primary means of communicating with Goetia Spirits. Sometimes, instead of direct punishment withholding something the Spirit wants works will.

The important thing to keep in mind is that your operation must be under your Will. Capricious behavior will not benefit you.

Plan out your operations carefully."

At the Left Hand of God: Aghori Tantra

Light years beyond teenager's disobedience and rebelling,
it is about walking the Path that denies nothing and embraces everything.

From the video:
"...and people are deluding themselves thinking that purity
defines closeness to salvation.
The Aghoris take the opposite direction."

Invoking Goddess Kali

When we invoke Kali through the above mantra, we are saying, "I want true spiritual advancement by the most powerful and direct route, the consequences to my ego notwithstanding."

The mantra means:
AUM, salutations to You, the First & Dark One, the Supreme Primordial Feminine, who ruthlessly cuts through illusion to the unabridged truth of existence. I surrender to You.

So if you choose this route, its important that you realize what you are in for. It will be intense, possibly unnerving, probably uncomfortable, certainly disruptive to one or more aspects of your mundane life, and also very effective in a short amount of time. She will burn down everything but pure consciousness.

The Goddess Kali can in few hours give you more progress than you would attain on your own in 10 years.
Are you up for it?

There is none else besides Her

Shakti power

She has many names and has been worshiped in many traditions throughout human history as the one God in female form, The Goddess, the Nature and the Source of Nature.

She has come to me in variety of forms:
as Kali, the Terrible Dark Goddess of Tantra lore,
as Lilith, the Queen of Sitra Ahra,
as Babalon, the Lady of Abomination,
as Nuit, the Star and Space Goddess,
as White Tara, The Mother of all Buddhas.

There is nothing She is not, She is in everyone & everything and it is She that runs the whole show, for...

...there is none else besides Her.

In one of Her emanations She said:

"Every man that hath seen me forgetteth me never,
and I appear oftentimes in the coals of the fire,
and upon the smooth white skin of woman,
and in the constancy of the waterfall,
and in the emptiness of deserts and marshes,
and upon great cliffs that look seaward;
and in many strange places, where men seek me not.
And many thousand times he beholdeth me not.
And at last I smite myself into him as a vision smiteth into a stone,
and whom I call must follow."
